Happy Halloween!!!
Bruce and I went to Ryan's Aunt Jenny and Uncle Dennis's house for a Halloween/Going Away Party (his aunt enlisted in the army). We all went trick-or-treating together with Ryan's mom, aunts, uncle, and cousin - I think some neighbors and a dog, too. It was a perfect night ~ dry and not too cold. We went trick-or-treating in Lacey and it was crazy busy. There were hundreds of kids roaming the streets. Lots of parents had dressed up and some houses went all out on their decorations. One house had about 4 guys dressed up and ready to scare you coming and going (in a coffin, on the ground, behind bushes, and a wandering gorilla). Ryan was carried half the time because he had twisted something in his ankle the day before and wasn't supposed to be walking on his bad foot.
When we got back to Ryan's aunt's house we ate caramel apples and pumpkin muffins. She went all out with the themed treats. We didn't get back to our house until around midnight. We slept really well. It was a pretty fun night.
